In 2023 LA BIBI opened an artist residency to keep supporting artists from around the globe to develop thought provoking ideas and projects.
The residence is a rehabilitated former industrial warehouse. It is a testament to the vanished 19th-century Mallorcan textile industry.
Just as artisan weavers combined their work in the fields with their own family looms, LA BIBI Residence is situated halfway between urban and rural spaces. It offers a peripheral view of Palma Bay, as well as privileged views of the UNESCO World Heritage site, the “Serra de Tramuntana.”
The space is equipped to cover all basic needs. It features a kitchen, workspace, bathroom, storage furniture, and bedroom furniture.
