Since its inception, LA BIBI Residency Programme has hosted a diverse group of artists from Europe, the Americas, Asia, and Oceania, reflecting a strong commitment to international mobility and artistic exchange.
The programme has supported a wide range of contemporary practices, including painting, installation, photography, video, and interdisciplinary approaches. For many artists, the residency provides a period of concentrated studio work and experimentation, while for others it serves as a context for research and reflection on contemporary visual and cultural conditions.
The programme maintains a balance between emerging and established artists, fostering a shared working environment shaped by dialogue between local and international perspectives. Through this diversity of practices and trajectories, the residency has developed into a platform that supports artistic research while contributing to the circulation of contemporary artistic practices across different cultural contexts.
