Irati Inoriza

Biography

Irati Inoriza’s artistic practice moves between the visual essay and the construction of artistic ecosystems. Through the relationships she establishes with specific contexts, she positions herself and reflects on the organized notions that shape the construction of identity—both personal and collective—in an ever-changing society.

Her approach navigates the intersection between research, contextualization, and translation into images. The collaborative dynamics she fosters are not merely a narrative device but rather form an embodied space of their own—a body made of image and text. Through this, she questions two key aspects of contemporary culture: the complexity and impossibility of reducing any situation to a single interpretation, and the potential of the image not to represent, but to serve as a tool to analyze how we construct meaning and identity.
